Controller (m/f/d)

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Plant Controller (m/f/d) in the Controlling department for our client as a parental leave replacement (limited to 18 months).

• Supporting the plant manager and the business units in all commercial matters/questions/enquiries
• Support and monitoring of operational KPIs
• Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and ongoing sales and P&L forecasts
• Monitoring and analysis of monthly operating results compared to budget
• Participation in the preparation of the monthly accounts, the quarterly financial statements and the annual financial statements
• Preparation of financial analyses for contract negotiations and product investment decisions and audits
• Management of profitability analyses of plant components and subsequent discussions
• Management of the investment approval process and preparation of IEA for amortization calculations
• Ensure compliance with budget reporting requirements at local, state and tax levels

• Degree in business administration, economics or industrial engineering or a comparable combination of education and professional experience
• At least five years of experience in the areas of controlling, project controlling and finance
• Knowledge of software (Word, Excel, SAP), financial and cost accounting, auditing, tax and commercial law, negotiation and financial management
• Fluency in German and English, any other language is an advantage
• Analytical thinking, leadership qualities, ability to work in a team, communication skills, negotiating skills, proactivity
