For a major international customer in the chemical industry, we are looking for a Buyer (m/f/d) on a temporary basis with immediate effect.

Your tasks:

• Assuming operational and strategic responsibility for the procurement of raw materials, supplies, services and CAPEX
• Work closely with management on projects to actively develop the business
• Development of purchasing strategies and their communication and implementation
• Concluding contracts with suppliers and conducting price and contract negotiations
• Carrying out market analyses, price observations, risk assessments and
  supplier evaluations

Your profile:

• Completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering, logistics or an equivalent course of study
• Professional experience in procurement and operational purchasing processes
• Experience in drafting and negotiating supplier contracts
• High level of initiative and commitment 
• Very good knowledge of SAP and affinity for digital systems
• Business fluent in German and English
• Hands-on mentality and entrepreneurial thinking
• Empathy, reliability and team spirit
