Cutting machine operator (m/f/d)

Job description

We are looking for a cutting machine operator (m/f/d) for a global corporation from the chemical industry at the Hanau site as soon as possible.

Your area of responsibility:

• Operating a sliding headstock lathe for the production of medical micro-precision parts from various precious metal alloys
• Implementation of minor adjustments or suggestions for improvement (productivity/stability/quality)
• Involved in troubleshooting problems, continuous improvement projects and brainstorming
• Checking the manufactured components using a microscope (visual inspection), optical measuring devices (measurement), mandrel tests for micro dimensions (up to 0.1 mm)
• Tool change and precision alignment (~3µm) as well as parameter correction in the event of dimensional deviations
• Reading CNC programs for the very complex articles

What you bring with you:

• Completed training as a cutting machine operator (m/f/d) or comparable training
• Comprehensive knowledge in the operation and programming adaptation of CNC machines
• Strong fine motor skills and initiative
• Ability to work in a team and a careful way of working
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift model
• Several years of professional experience as a skilled worker with CNC qualification desirable
