Your area of responsibility:

• Ongoing accounting work, keeping overviews, evaluations and statistics
• Order processing and control
• Processing and checking incoming invoices
• Processing and checking dispatch of goods
• Invoicing to customers and intercompany
• Posting current business transactions, accounts receivable, accounts payable, account clarifications
• Preparation and execution of payment runs
• Creating and posting travel expense reports
• Managing and booking the cash registers
• Checking and booking incoming and outgoing goods
• Organization and implementation of inventories
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Preparation and checking of VAT returns and tax returns
• Monitoring of tax and duty matters
• Preparation and reconciliation of tax returns
• Preparation of or support with the application for funding

What you bring with you:

• Business studies or vocational training in the commercial sector and successfully completed further training as a certified accountant (m/f/d)
• At least five years of professional experience, preferably in a medium-sized or larger industrial company
• Very good knowledge of VAT law, travel expenses law, trade tax law, VAT law and contract law
• Customs and shipping regulations an advantage
• Organizational and negotiating skills, confident manner in oral communications and business correspondence
• High level of commitment, ability to work independently and on your own responsibility as well as in a team
• Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems, DATEV, Navision, SAP or similar.
