Technical editor (m/f/d)

For our client in Alzenau we are looking for a Technical Writer (m/f/d) on a temporary basis.

Your tasks:

• Creation of technical documentation for machines and systems in accordance with machine guidelines, including images and graphics
• Effiziente Organisation und Verwaltung der digitalen Dokumente und Archive
• Beantworten von Fragen und Unterstützung der Fachbereiche zu Dokumentationen
• Creation, maintenance and further development of technical documentation aimed at different target groups
• Merging and standardizing documents from different departments
• Information research and close cooperation with internal and external interfaces and service providers
• Creation and systematic recording of safety-relevant information

Your profile:

• Completed studies in the field of technical editing, technical communication, mechanical engineering or a comparable field of study
• Practical experience in technical editing/documentation in the field of mechanical and plant engineering, electrical engineering, automotive industry or special machine construction desirable
• Knowledge of applicable guidelines and standards in technical documentation
• Basic knowledge of CAD software
• Strong technical understanding
• Very good spelling and grammar skills in German and at least a good command of English
