Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Job description

For our customer, a leading machine and plant manufacturer in the Rosenheim area, with remuneration according to ERA, we are looking for you as a design engineer (m/f/d) for a long-term assignment.

Your tasks:

• Technical inspection of customer orders under own responsibility
• Clarification of special requests with the specialist departments
• Independent processing of technical orders in SAP
• Machine design from partially existing assemblies and drawings
• Working in a team to create sketches and drawings on complex assembly and machine levels
• Development of special designs and in some cases also new designs
• Independent release and modification of parts lists
• Creating new designs with CAD and carrying out technical calculations for the parts and assemblies to be produced
• Completing SAP data entry
• Carrying out problem solving at machine level through active troubleshooting and correction
• Contact person for technical questions for internal departments, customers and suppliers

Your profile:

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering or a similar field
• Several years of professional experience in the field of activity 
• Experience in special machine construction
• Very good knowledge of SAP
• Very good knowledge of Solid Edge 3D
• Written and spoken German mandatory
• Independent, self-reliant, team-oriented way of working
