For a well-known client in the Bayreuth region we are looking for a Strategic Project Buyer (m/f/d) on a temporary basis.

Your tasks:
- Independent implementation of Europe-wide tendering procedures
- Independent control of complete order processes
- Determining the need for specialized components, tools and services for offshore grid connection systems
- Identification and evaluation of suppliers who have experience in the offshore industry and can offer high-quality products.
- Leading negotiations with suppliers on prices, delivery terms and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure they meet the specific requirements of offshore projects
- Monitoring market trends in offshore technology and price developments for materials and services
- Drafting and managing complex contracts such as contracts for work and services
Your profile:
- Degree in business administration, economics, business studies or a comparable field of study
- Initial experience in strategic purchasing and procurement of offshore-specific materials
- Ability to negotiate complex contracts and build long-term partnerships with suppliers
- User knowledge in SAP R/3 module MM or SAP S/4 HANA
- Very good written and spoken English skills
