Your area of responsibility:
- Recording, account assignment and posting of incoming invoices in accordance with the provisions of the KHBV and the German Commercial Code (HGB) and compliance with regulations
Preparation and execution of payment runs - Account reconciliation and account maintenance for creditors and processing of reminders
- Vendor master data creation and maintenance
- Processing of incoming correspondence (balance confirmations, rejection letters, other clarifications)
- Event-related communication with specialist departments, clinics and service providers
- Participation in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Taking over the activities of debit-side accounting and day-to-day bookkeeping in the event of substitution
- Taking on special or additional tasks in accounting (e.g. introduction of eInvoice)
- Induction of new colleagues, supervision of interns/trainees
What you bring with you:
- Completed commercial training, ideally with further training as a financial accountant (m/f/d), a qualification as an accountant (m/f/d) or as a tax clerk (m/f/d) is desirable
- Professional experience in accounting/bookkeeping, preferably in the healthcare sector
- Analytical skills and affinity for numbers
- Sound knowledge of commercial and tax law
- Very good oral and written communication skills in German (C1)
- A sound knowledge of ORBIS/ESWEB would be desirable
- Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel
- Good knowledge of workflow platforms
