Your tasks:

• The development and updating of security concepts and guidelines
• They ensure that hazard assessments and risk analyses are carried out in good time and prepare these as required
• Employees are trained and informed by you on safety-related topics
• You carry out regular safety inspections independently.
• You are the contact person for internal and external security issues
• You process, document and report security incidents
• Together with the management, you work on the continuous improvement of the safety culture
• You monitor compliance with all occupational health and safety and legal requirements and assess the general working conditions
• Analyze noise, hazardous substances, lighting and other relevant factors in the workplace
• You carry out measurements independently
• Communicate health and safety issues to the relevant departments
• Occupational medical check-ups for the early detection of health problems are arranged by you
• You prepare accident reports for the employers' liability insurance association in coordination with the relevant department and the HR department

Your profile:

• Completed technical training
• Further training as a specialist for occupational safety according to §4 DGUV
• Professional experience in a manufacturing company and at least two years of professional experience as a safety specialist
• Sound knowledge of the relevant legal requirements and standards (e.g. Occupational Health and Safety Act, DGUV regulations)
• High level of communication skills and team orientation
• Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
• Fluent written and spoken German and English
