Your area of responsibility:

• Installation and configuration of servers, networks, applications and clients
• Collaboration in the design, configuration and operation of multi-site IP networks, Local Area Network (LAN); Wide Area Network (WAN); Virtual Private Network (VPN)
• Collaboration Assistance in the planning, configuration and operation of the cross-site firewall infrastructure and other network security components
• Collaboration Support in the creation of cross-location IP and VLAN concepts such as VPN meshing of the locations, Internet connections, logical segmentation of the network infrastructure
• Design, implementation, configuration of software and hardware solutions
• Automation of (system) processes and workflows
• Collaboration and expansion of the SIEM landscape

What you bring with you:

• Successfully completed university education (Bachelor's degree or equivalent university degree [FH diploma]) in computer science or a comparable field or comparable skills acquired in practice as well as experience in system and network administration
• Good knowledge of network technologies and the administration of common network components for data center environments (firewalls, switches, routers)
• Ideally knowledge of virtualization technologies and scripting languages
• a high degree of independence as well as a pronounced ability to work in a team and service orientation
