Job description

On behalf of a well-known client from Mainz, we are looking for exactly you as a supporting employee (m/f/d) in the accounting department.

Your tasks:

  • Timely processing of supplier invoices
  • Entry of incoming invoices incl. down payments/advance payments
  • Comparison of supplier invoices with delivery bills and clarification of differences
  • Maintenance of supplier accounts
  • Processing of payment reminders and overdue notices
  • Creation of payment advice notes
  • Support with year-end closing activities
  • Representation accounts receivable (check & post outgoing invoices)
  • Creation of process descriptions / documentation

Your profile:

  • Completed commercial vocational training or corresponding professional experience
  • Experience in financial and balance sheet accounting
  • Knowledge of an ERP system 
  • Very good knowledge of MS Excel
  • German business fluent
  • Independent and careful way of working
  • Ability to work in a team, flexibility, reliability
